The Health Data Consortium’s Policy Principles serve as guidance for proposed open health data related legislation by the U.S. Congress and state legislatures. HDC’s Policy Principles also provide guidance for federal and state regulations to improve the quality, availability and accessibility of open health data in order to ignite innovation and foster collaboration among key stakeholders. HDC’s Policy Principles serve as a roadmap to guide HDC activities throughout the year.
