The Health Data Consortium's staff conduct the day-to-day operations of HDC's year-round membership and programming activities, and work tirelessly to advance HDC's mission of liberating health data to improve people's lives.
Amy Chang, Program Assistant
Amy is a Program Assistant at the Health Data Consortium, and primarily focuses on supporting HDC’s programming, marketing, and membership activities. She serves as webmaster of the HDC domain, and has over a decade of experience in webdevelopment, web administration, and graphic design. She also maintains the @hdconsortium Twitter account and other HDC social media accounts. Feel free to tweet her and say hi! Amy received her Bachelor’s in Public Health and Psychology from Johns Hopkins University.
Lauren Ellis Riplinger, Director of Policy and Government Affairs
Lauren currently serves as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs at the Health Data Consortium. In this capacity, she is responsible for HDC's advocacy before Congress and various federal agencies. With over a decade of healthcare policy experience, Lauren previously worked on Capitol Hill where she was actively involved in almost every aspect of a congressional office, including serving as Chief of Staff—a position that requires the ability to quickly synthesize multiple issues and adapt to constantly shifting priorities. Lauren received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
Kathie Jamasali, Office Manager
As the Office Manager of Health Data Consortium, Kathie plays a key role in managing operations and providing support to the HDC Team, including membership onboarding and management. She is the primary point of contact for HDC CEO Chris Boone. An educator by training, she has 8 years of experience in providing executive support and managing small business operations. Kathie received her B.S.E. in English from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
